I am not always accepting new clients. I continually monitor my caseload and appointment availability to determine if I can appropriately and reasonably accommodate new incoming clients without sacrificing services available to the clients on my current caseload. Anyone interested in becoming a client of Leigh Miller Counseling, LLC should review the New Clients page (see tabs above) and contact me accordingly.
New clients, once registered, will either receive or initiate a phone call to Leigh Miller Counseling, LLC in order to set up the first appointment. After the initial intake session is completed, clients will be granted access and encouraged to schedule appointments online through the portal, as well as update account information, cancel appointments, and send confidential, HIPAA-compliant messages.
Appointments cannot be cancelled online with less than 24 hours notice, so in these cases you must call to cancel, or use the portal to send a HIPAA-compliant message. Clients who notify me they will not be attending the appointment, but do so with less than a 24-hour notice will be charged a $35.00 cancellation fee.
Clients who do not show for their scheduled appointment time, or call anytime at or AFTER the scheduled start time to notify me they are not attending, will be charged a $60.00 no-show fee (1st offense).
